Rocket One Adds Major General Malcolm B. Frost (Ret.) to Space and Defense Advisory Board

Rocket One has appointed Major General Malcolm B. Frost, United States Army (Retired), to its Space and Defense Advisory Board, bringing nearly four decades of national security and operational leadership experience to the company as it expands its work in advanced computing and space‑focused AI infrastructure. The appointment strengthens Rocket One’s strategic posture as it develops technologies intended for radiation‑tolerant computing, orbital systems and defense applications.

Strategic Leadership for Emerging Space and Defense Technologies

General Frost’s background includes senior operational and strategic roles across the Indo‑Pacific, Middle East, Europe and the United States. His experience leading large‑scale military organizations and national defense programs aligns with Rocket One’s efforts to position its nanomagnetic AI accelerator architecture and radiation‑tolerant computing technologies for future aerospace and defense missions.

Robb Knie, Chief Executive Officer of Rocket One, stated that Frost’s leadership will support the company’s long‑term strategy as it pursues opportunities at the intersection of artificial intelligence, advanced computing and space infrastructure.

Experience Spanning Operations, Training and Strategic Communications

During his Army career, General Frost served as Chief of Public Affairs, overseeing strategic communications for an organization of approximately 1.5 million personnel. He also held key operational roles, including Deputy Director for Operations at the National Military Command Center and Director of Operations for U.S. Army Pacific, where he led planning and multinational exercises across the Indo‑Pacific region.

In his final assignment, he led the Army’s Initial Entry Training enterprise, responsible for transforming roughly 130,000 civilian volunteers into soldiers each year while advancing the Army’s holistic health and fitness modernization initiatives.

Alignment With Rocket One’s Space and Defense Roadmap

General Frost noted that he is joining Rocket One at a time when advanced computing, artificial intelligence and resilient infrastructure are becoming increasingly important to national security. His perspective supports Rocket One’s development of technologies intended for orbital computing, defense systems and energy‑efficient AI acceleration.

Company Focus on Radiation‑Tolerant AI and Orbital Infrastructure

Rocket One is developing a platform centered on advanced computing technologies for space and defense, including nanomagnetic matrix multiplier architectures designed for machine learning workloads in radiation‑exposed environments such as low Earth orbit and deep‑space systems. The company also maintains exclusive rights to related magnetic memory technologies and is positioned to pursue opportunities in nano‑launch and nanosatellite deployment.
