MISUMI Group has appointed Dave Evans as President of MISUMI Americas, marking a significant step in the company’s strategy to unify MISUMI and Fictiv into a single AI powered manufacturing platform. The combined capabilities are positioned to support faster development cycles for industries that rely on precision components and rapid iteration, including aerospace, robotics, MedTech, electric vehicles, and factory automation.

Under Evans’ leadership, the Americas platform will merge MISUMI’s extensive catalog of configurable components with Fictiv’s digital manufacturing tools. The integration is designed to streamline the path from prototype to production, offering aerospace and advanced manufacturing customers improved access to standard and custom parts with enhanced speed, transparency, and quality control.

Evans, who co founded Fictiv and continues to serve as its CEO, will oversee both organizations to ensure operational alignment. MISUMI acquired Fictiv in 2025 as part of its broader strategy to expand digital manufacturing capabilities across global markets.

Evans succeeds Nobuyuki Ashida, who guided MISUMI USA through a decade of growth and operational expansion. Ashida will support the transition through February, ensuring continuity as MISUMI Americas enters its next phase of digital and AI driven development.
