Virgin Galactic has appointed Megan Prichard as Chief Growth Officer, a newly created role that will oversee the company’s integrated growth and revenue strategy across its human spaceflight and research mission portfolio. Prichard will assume the position on April 6 as the company prepares for the launch of commercial operations in the fourth quarter of 2026.

In her new role, Prichard will be responsible for expanding Virgin Galactic’s book of business for both research missions and spaceflight expeditions. Background in Emerging Mobility and Advanced Technology
Prichard joins Virgin Galactic from Uber, where she served as Head of US Mobility Portfolio and previously led initiatives in e VTOL and micromobility. Her experience includes launching and scaling new business lines such as Uber Elite and driving growth across emerging transportation technologies. She has also held leadership roles at Cruise, the autonomous vehicle subsidiary of General Motors, where she served as Vice President for Commercialization.
