Stoke Space Rebrands Engineering Platform as Boltline, Doubling Revenue and Expanding Impact
Stoke Space, the Kent, Washington-based aerospace innovator known for its pursuit of fully and rapidly reusable rockets, has announced a strategic rebranding of its cloud-based hardware engineering platform. Formerly known as Fusion, the platform will now operate under the name Boltline. The move reflects a sharpened focus on delivering a purpose-built, end-to-end solution for hardware development, and comes amid a surge in adoption across industries, including aerospace, defense, and advanced manufacturing.
A Platform Born from Friction, Refined for Speed
Boltline’s origin story is rooted in Stoke’s own engineering challenges. As the company pushed forward with rocket prototyping, it encountered a familiar pain point: fragmented software tools that slowed progress and obscured traceability. In response, Stoke developed its own internal solution, which evolved into a unified platform capable of managing the full lifecycle of hardware development, from design and prototyping to production and audit readiness.
“Stoke didn’t set out to build software. We set out to build hardware, and the tools got in our way,” said Brent Bradbury, Head of Business at Boltline. “We needed a system that could keep pace with our ambitions, and Boltline emerged as that solution.”
Doubling Down on Growth and Industry Adoption
In the first half of the current fiscal year, Boltline has achieved a twofold increase in revenue, signaling strong market traction. This growth is fueled by its adoption in sectors where hardware complexity and execution urgency intersect. Aerospace firms, in particular, are finding value in Boltline’s ability to streamline workflows while preserving the digital thread essential for traceability and compliance.
Jack “2fish” Fischer, SVP of Production and Operations at Intuitive Machines, praised the platform’s alignment with aerospace needs. “We saw in Boltline a kindred spirit of high-cadence engineering that is challenging the boundaries of what’s possible in space,” he said. “Its collaborative capabilities and clear digital thread answered our needs.”
Backed by Strategic Investment
Boltline’s momentum is further supported by a previously undisclosed investment from Woven Capital, Toyota’s growth-stage venture fund. Finalized in December 2024, the funding is accelerating product development and commercial expansion. Michiko Kato, Partner at Woven Capital, emphasized Boltline’s role in solving a fundamental challenge for hardware teams: moving fast without sacrificing quality.
“With full visibility from cradle to grave, Boltline brings tremendous value to teams navigating complex hardware development cycles,” Kato noted.

While Boltline is gaining traction across biotech, climate tech, and manufacturing, its relevance to aerospace is particularly compelling. The industry’s shift toward rapid iteration, modular design, and reusable systems demands tools that can keep pace.
