Arris, a leader in advanced manufacturing for high-performance composites, has appointed Kevin Yeaman—President and CEO of Dolby Laboratories—to its Board of Directors. The move reflects Arris’s ambition to scale its proprietary Additive Molding technology through licensing and strategic partnerships, a model that echoes Dolby’s transformation from hardware maker to global IP powerhouse.

Yeaman’s tenure at Dolby has been marked by the successful integration of its technologies into billions of consumer devices, from smartphones to vehicles. Founded in 2017, Arris pioneered Additive Molding—a hybrid manufacturing approach that combines continuous fiber-reinforced thermoplastics with high-volume production.
